Chris & I......

took Brianna & Gabi to Tannehill today. It was a gorgeous day! The girls' hiked trails, stopped for a treat at the Sweet Shop, played on the playground, talked to the ducks, saw a snake, etc. We spent 3 hours there then went out to an early dinner. Good day, much needed.

HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY KAYLA......

Wow. I blinked & at 6:46 p.m. my daughter will officially be fifteen. Time to get her permit & next year her drivers license.

I don't even want to think about it. Have a great day Kayla. Make the most of this year and the years to come.

I have never.....

had the desire to have anything other than my earlobes pierced. I'll pass on the cartilage, the nose, the belly button, the eyebrows, the tongue, & all the other parts I can't mention here. Kayla wanted her cartilage pierced for her birthday so we went to Claire's. The pics say it all. She had a teddy bear in her lap but it didn't seem to help much. :-) She didn't cry, I think she expected it to hurt more than it did, she is sore today though.

Kayla's 15th Birthday Dinner

Our family & friends got together last night to celebrate Kayla's 15th Birthday! As you can see we had a good time. I think Haley started the icing fight by putting it on the birthday girl & it went from there. Thanks to everyone that made it, it helped make Kayla's night that much better. After dinner we went to the Galleria, then Kayla & two of her friends went to the movies.

Baby K Update....

His Mother sent me a message this afternoon & he CAN see. :-) Thank you GOD! Please pray that the family continues to receive nothing but good news.

Kayla....

had to be checked out today; headache, stomach ache, vomiting, etc. Pray she gets better soon & that the rest of us dodge the bullet.

St. Patrick's Day everyone. I made sure Kayla & Gabi wore green to school today. Gabi remembered Julien pinching her last year for not wearing green. :-)

I got to see Baby K Sunday night. It's still just wait and see. He was awake & sucking his paci like it was the best thing ever invented. Please continue to pray for him & his family!

Where's Paige?

On the right....I talked to my good friend Paige aka "Little Girl" Sunday evening. She moved to Savannah about 2 years ago to escape the craziness of Cullman, AL & to attend school. I have to make a trip out there; WHY? to see Paige of course. Oh & to see the lighthouse, to go to Paula Dean's restaurant, & to try these Chocolate Martini's she keeps raving about. Gabi & I miss her.
