Kim did an awesome job as always, I can't wait to see Julien & Addie's pictures. For those of you who don't know Kim, here's your chance; Unique Expressions by Kim, www.sharitphotos.com! Check out her website & give her a call. Thank you Kim!

Full day.......

Kayla & Addie at the ballpark.

We started off Saturday with Julien's 1st baseball game of the season. Here's the little sneak trying to steal base, he smacked the ball into the outfield and made it to third, he was itching to make it home. The "Slammers" won the game 16-1. Way to go Julien. After Julien's game we went to the park in Helena, here's the birthday girl with Jeanie & Haley.
Then we were off to Guadalajara's for Kayla's birthday dinner. In addition to the vanity set, Kayla also received a manicure/pedicure and Nike Shox from my Mother before our trip. Yesterday she got an iTunes gift card, cash, a digital key chain, jewelry, etc. Can we say spoiled?
One park a day isn't enough, here's Gabi posing in the Ice Cream Parlor @ Wald Park.
After that we dropped Kayla, Jeanie, & Haley off at the movies. Long day!

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY KAYLA

DON'T BLINK! It's hard to believe 14 years ago I was in labor with her. We should have known then, after a very long day & them having to take her by c-section what a stubborn individual she would be. It's not official until 6:46 pm.

I bought Kayla a vanity set that was given to her last night. She'll have to wait until later today for the rest. We're going to Julien's baseball game then out for Mexican, Kayla's favorite.

Easter Sunday

Here's my cousins 2 children, Mari Kynadee and her older brother C'Jay with my niece, Gabi.
And here's our Sweet Girl, Addie. She looks wiped out. Her older brother, Julien was on the pier fishing, a little birdie told me he thinks he's too old to hunt Easter eggs.

My family spent the day at the lake; fishing, eating, hunting Easter eggs, etc. I borrowed a few of the pics to post. Maybe next year Kayla & I will be on this side of the Atlantic Ocean and can join in the fun.

JULIEN

My nephew Julien made "A" honor roll. Great job Julien, keep up the good work.
Here he is posing with his beautiful Mom.

Pictures

Between me & Kayla we had about 1500 pictures, way too many to post. This truely was a Trip of a Lifetime & I thank the ones who made it possible from the bottom of my heart.

Dinner in Munich

Yes, I let my soon to be 14 year old daughter taste German beer. Despite the smile on her face, she didn't like it, she poured it into my glass. In Germany it is considered a gift when someone offers you a decorated Easter Egg & rude not to take it.
This "gentleman" had way too much to drink, he was singing & dancing with anyone who would join in. As we were leaving he shook my hand & stood to kiss Kayla, on each cheek, then popped her on the bottom on her way out the door. I've never seen her that many shades of red before; it was a hoot. She'll be 14 tomorrow but people think she's much older.

Kayla on Mount Pilatus

A view from the ride up to Mount Pilatus

It took us 45 minutes by 2 different cable cars to reach the top of Mount Pilatus. It's almost 7,000 feet high. The kids and some of the adults were going to snow sled down but it was too late in the afternoon so they had to take the cable cars back down. They were disappointed but more than made up for it with snowball fights that night at the hotel.

Mrs. Miroff is Kayla's World History teacher & our Group Leader while on the trip.

We're back....

Kayla & I are back, safe and sound. We got home around 11:30 Monday night. I now know what it feels like to have jet lag. What an experience, absolutely breathtaking. I'm going to attempt to post some pics, enjoy!

Trip of a Lifetime

Kayla & I are leaving Sunday (March 16th) for Europe. We'll be visiting Germany, Switzerland, & Austria with a group of 37 others. We are very excited and are looking forward to experiencing different cultures, etc.

Someone suggested now would be the perfect time to start a blog so I'm going to give it a shot.
