One year ago....

this week Kayla & I were in Europe. Wow, how time flies.

Mrs. Miroff's next group trip is to Australia next summer for 18 days. Needless to say, we will not be joining her for that one. Very tempting but very much out of my reach. Another reason for going to college to obtain a degree, better job, more money, etc.

Mrs. Miroff is also going to China this summer for 3 weeks. She was one of 15 teachers chosen to take the trip. She is amazing & has been able to take some awesome trips all over the world.

I'm on....

Spring Break! I have not been able to say that for 18 years!

I'm watching my nephew today & working on papers for school. Yeah!!!

Sunday...

The WHOLE family is scheduled to have pictures made at Botanical Gardens Sunday. Last time I checked we have a 70% chance of rain & I'm not sure what the back up plan is. Anyway, anyone who tackles our family together or separately needs prayers. :-) There are 17 of us going.

Jenn & Addie...

School...

I have class Saturday morning and next week is Spring Break, which is very much needed. The girls' isn't until the week of April 13th, don't tell them but we are going out of town. :-)

I have plenty to keep me busy. An English paper, a Biology research paper, & a critique assignment in Art. Fun, fun.

Gabi & Addie

Gabi has strep AGAIN. She's on another antibiotic & has to see an ENT to schedule a date to have her tonsils and adenoids removed.

Addie's surgery has already been scheduled.

We'll keep everyone up to date.

Baby K

Baby K was moved out of ICU into the Special Care Unit. They are still waiting on the swelling in his brain to go down so they can send in the Retina Specialist.

His Mom sent me a text message this morning that said he was trying to smile, she said I guess he heard his Mom & Dad are getting married. :-)

Please continue to pray for Baby K and his family.

Update on Baby K......

His Mom said the MRI results showed he has extensive injury to both sides of the brain. That he will not be able to see, walk, or talk ever.

Please, please, please pray for Baby K & his family!

What kind of MONSTER...

would hurt a 4 month old baby? I have a friend whose baby is in ICU at Children's with a bleed on his brain from blunt force trauma & as a result is having seizures. His liver is bruised & he also has external bruising. They suspect it happened at a place we thought our children would be safe while we were at work. Please PRAY for Baby K that he has a speedy recovery & pray for his family!
