"21"

Family & friends celebrated our cousin, Corbin's 21ST Birthday this evening at Macaroni Grill. We met at 7 & I had to be to work by 8 so I didn't get to stay long. And I have no pics, my to-go order was good though. HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY CORBIN!

C'Jay's game....

Mom & I took a VERY special person & her family in Helena dinner tonight then we headed to C'Jay's game in Hueytown. We didn't stay for the whole game because the girls & I had on flip flops....for it to be May in Alabama, it was cold outside. Plus the game was suppose to start @ 7:30 and started late and Gabi is a grouch in the mornings if she doesn't get enough sleep for school! BUT....we did get to see C'Jay hit & he did a good job!

Stress relief....

AGAIN, I'll not mention names & NO I do not usually let my "16" year old daughter shoot a gun BUT....when the sound of someones voice makes you "SICK", you need a stress reliever. We had 2 good friends offer to take us target shooting & it is a good way to relieve stress. Kayla pretended someones picture was the center of the target & for her first time shooting a gun, she did well....AND she felt so much better afterward. Then she went with L to pick up her sister and they practiced throwing the softball....it was a beautiful day and the honeysuckles smelled awesome. Thank you J & L!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

You can tattle on me if you want & YES I blog lifted these from my sister! I made reservations at The Bright Star for our Mother's Day lunch, we ate at 10:45 and thank goodness for that because by the time we left it was standing room only. It was awesome as usual & we had a friend plus Kayla's cousin waiting on us! No one likes pics of themselves but man do I look tired?
When we left there we all went to the cemetery to see the boys headstone! Cecilia's 1ST Mother's Day without them!

Erin's game....

Kayla & I made it out to another one of Erin's games. Erin is always so excited to see Kayla. The girls played a good game, despite Erin's wrist injury dealing her fits.
Kayla on the other hand had a very tough evening....without mentioning names she had someone (who "should" play a major role in her life) standing a few feet in front of her that didn't even acknowledged her presence....she would have rather had him/her yell at her than completely ignore her. She is finally at the age where she sees for herself who is healthy and unhealthy to have in her life. And if that certain someone offers to sign away his/her rights....I would say that person is UNHEALTHY!!! Thank God for counseling!!! Be strong Kayla....you have a lot of people in your life that LOVE you & you are where you are today because of US!!!
