Back to American Girl....

When we took Gabi to American Girl in December Cecilia wasn't able to go because she was very pregnant & miserable. Her & Gabi went back & had her dolls hair done followed by lunch at the Bistro. They also rode the carousel while they were there....I feel cheated, I didn't know the mall had a carousel. :-( Cecilia took pics on her cell phone which really surprised me. Gabi loves the American Girl store, she just doesn't like the ride to Alpharetta. (She's really not going to like the ride to Savannah at the end of the week).

Gabi's last game....

Gabi had her last cheer leading game today, followed by a pizza party & a cupcake cake. :-)

Ballet....

Cecilia & I took the girls to the ballet....Don Quixote tonight at Sanford. It was a first for all 4 of us. I think you appreciate things more when you're older. It was beautiful & as you can see it was past Gabi's bedtime.

Meet DAISY....

Gabi had 2 gift cards to Build-A-Bear, courtesy of our friend, Paige and Uncle Howie. Her Mom took her & this is who she came home with....Daisy. She only had to use $2 of her own money & Daisy giggles when you press her paw. :-) Thank you Paige & Uncle Howie.

PNEUMONIA

Kayla & I spent 2 and 1/2 hours at the doctor today, they are treating her for pneumonia. Her blood pressure was high & her oxygen level low. She got a breathing treatment, a shot of Decadron & a shot of Rocephin. They sent her home with a Medrol Dose Pack, a Z-Pack & Singulair. We have to follow up with her primary who is sending us to a Pulmonary doctor. They informed us her asthma has returned. I don't think she ever kicked the bronchitis she got right after her gall bladder surgery.

She also has a hole in her tummy where one of her incisions decided not to close, we are packing it daily but that doctor told her to expect to have a second belly button.

SNOWMAN

I got off on University heading into work this afternoon & saw this guy; had to take his pic.

NO SCHOOL....

Another weather day....another make-up day. Really? 49 of the 50 states got snow? How cool is that? We enjoyed the day; doctors appointment, breakfast at The Pancake House, a trip to the nail salon, to the movies to see Dear John & to McAlister's for lunch.

AMERICAN GIRL ICE CREAM SOCIAL

I saw in the Birmingham Parent magazine that the Hoover Library was hosting an American Girl Ice Cream Social. I had Cecilia call & make reservations for Gabi. One thing Cecilia is not is a picture taker so there's no pics of the afternoon but Gabi enjoyed herself & they said there was a good turn out.
