Ober Gatlinburg....

We spent the majority of the day at Ober Gatlinburg; 6 of us attempted ice skating....the other 4 were great spectators. There were several falls; one guy left his mark of blood on the ice when he fell and hit his head and a lady needed an ice pack for her knee. Obviously knee and elbow pads as well as helmets should be issued along with the ice skates.

Gabi & Mae Mae got armbands for unlimited rides on the carousel and Howard & Chris were on the last chair lift up to ride the Alpine slide. It didn't take long for the wind to pick up and us to feel the chill. We were not able to snow ski, snow board or snow tube because there was no snow but we made the best of it.

We stopped in Chattanooga on the way to Gatlinburg for lunch, Julien's choice and a good one at that.

Christmas Eve....

We all got together at my sisters house for Christmas Eve....including Carlisle. It was fun but what is a family get together without a little tension?

It's a good thing....

this blog is for me and that I don't have followers. My camera went to heaven and a new one has not been delivered by a stork, elf or anyone else for that matter. Once it is I can start taking pics and blogging my memories for me to look at down the road.

Growing like a weed....

We keep it pretty cold in our house, a friend of mine gave me 2 shirts for little girl. They fit her better now than they did.

UNinvited guest....

Mom & I were sitting in the living room when I noticed a truck passing ever so slowly in front of our house....several times. When I went out to see if I could assist him, he ended up assisting me in getting rid of this UNinvited guest.

'40' & '38' & G'parent's Day....

All '10' of us got together today to celebrate my brother turning '40', me turning '38' and Grandparent's Day. I couldn't resist taking the pic of my nephew. That's the only time the camera came out. :-)

Carlisle...aka Carli

We got a new puppy a few weeks ago. She was the runt of the litter and her mom rejected her. My aunt bottle fed her, she was 1 lb 2 oz when we got her. She's a lot of fun, loves to bite piggies and get into to anything she's not suppose to.

Kayla's little sister will be "11" Monday, we we're able to join in on the celebration before Kayla went into work. These two do not see each other often enough.

My brother turned '40' today! His yard was invaded while he slept last night.
