ROLL TIDE/WAR EAGLE
Gabi & I went to Hyard's yesterday to join him, Chris, & Brianna for game day. We had fun, of course for the adults rum & coke and beer & the little ones sprite and water. We drank and snacked all afternoon getting ready for the game. I didn't take my camera but Gabi & Brianna had a good day playing on the computer, etc. Hyard's kitties, Whitney and Willie hid from them as much as possible. We got home around midnight after picking Kayla & Jeanie up from the movies.
I've always been an "Alabama Fan", although I could care less who wins. :-) So ROLL TIDE! I have a lot of friends and some family that are Auburn Fans so to save myself grief here's a WAR EAGLE!
I hope everyone is enjoying their three day Labor Day weekend! Be safe!

White Water Rafting
I was invited to go back to the Ocoee Monday! Yeah! I haven't been since Humongous swallowed our raft up two years ago. As a result several of us suffered injuries including rope burns, banged up knees, etc. I was blessed with knee surgery thanks to a rock on the bottom of the Ocoee. Although it was a rough trip we had a great time. This go round we're not taking the combo trip, we're just doing the Middle Section; which consist of Grumpy's Ledge, Broken Nose, Double Suck, Double Trouble, Table Saw, Hell's Hole, and Powerhouse Ledge. We'll go up Monday morning and come back Monday afternoon. I can't wait; a little anxious, but it's like riding a bike, if you fall off get right back on! This will be my fourth trip and I am in love.
Cooties
I have cooties. Or should I say the H. pylori infection. I'm on a Prev Pack for the next 14 days. Yuck! I am scheduled for a esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EDG) on the 24th of September.
I'm going to have the girls tested since it can be transmitted just by sharing an eating utensil. They've both been sick over the past few weeks; vomiting, etc. For all I know one of them gave it to me.
Pray that everyone gets well and stays well!
A friend/co-worker just ask me HOW? She said you don't even touch doorknobs or elevator buttons and you're constantly washing your hands with rubbing alcohol. :-)

AMY
Thank you Amy for picking my camera up from Wolf today which allowed me to sleep another hour. :-)
Tonight is my last night to work with Barbie Doll Amy. She graduated from Nursing School & has accepted a position in TBIC. CONGRATULATIONS Amy, I would say you'll be missed but you're right upstairs and we know just where to find you.
Also, GOOD LUCK Thursday on your NCLEX exam. Keep me posted.

Dinner at Leonardo's
All TEN of us met at Leonardo's for Chris' birthday dinner last night. Although I had to leave for work before dinner was over it was really good. You'll have to check pics out on Jenn's blog since I had to leave my camera at Wolf for one more night.
HAPPY 35TH BIRTHDAY BROTHER-IN-LAW!
HAPPY 35TH BIRTHDAY BROTHER-IN-LAW!
I just uploaded these pics from a cell phone, they are not clear but as you can see the older three found something to do while dinner was being prepared. Little Miss Addie was at the other end of the table.
My camera
My camera had to be admitted to the camera hospital. I dropped it a while back & broke the battery door. I took it to Wolf and they had to admit it and make it all better. I don't go anywhere without it so I'm lost. Fortunately they called and said "it" was ready to be discharged & I could come pick it up. Thank you Wolf!

Mama Hazel
My friend Toni aka TaLee, Toni Allison, Chef Tonisha, etc. got a call yesterday that her Grandmother wasn't doing well. Although I have never met Mama Hazel I've heard lots and lots of stories about her over the past four years since I've known Toni, especially about what a great cook she is. Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers!
Yuck, yuck, & more yuck....
Gabi has been sick off and on for a while. Her Dr.'s visits have given us no hope. They did start her on Zantac & that seems to be helping. We can't get one on the mend without another one trying to get sick. Last night at Friday night dinner Kayla didn't eat, but she made it to the parking lot before what was in her stomach was no longer. Then tonight at Chris' birthday dinner she didn't touch her salad or her spaghetti. Very unlike Kayla, hopefully whatever is in her system will clear out soon.

Sleeping Beauty
I took Kayla with me to Jenn's to help out with Addie on Monday. I wanted to feel like I was getting my money's worth from her babysitting classes this summer. She changed several wet diapers but let me change the dirty one. She also got Addie dressed, her Mother informed us her shirt was on backwards (sorry Jenn).
Kayla is just like me; we don't get to see Addie and Julien as often as we like, so when Addie goes down for a nap it's in our arms, not in her bed. (Don't tell my little sister)
Thank you Kayla for helping out.
